How fast does this pay for itself?

We won't promise a number. Anyone who does is guessing with your money. Here's how to think about it instead: if one missed call is worth $300–$3,000 to you, a system that catches even one or two a month has usually paid for itself. Content is slower and we'll say so plainly, because visibility compounds over months, not days. Either way you get the real numbers for your business in the audit, before you've spent anything, and we don't take on work the roadmap can't justify.

What actually happens in the free audit, and what's the catch?

A free 30-minute consult with the founder, in person if you're local, or a video call if that's easier. We walk through how a lead, a job, and a dollar move through your business today, and how visible you are to the customers still looking for you. You get a written list of what we found plus a roadmap ranked by payback. Yours to keep whether or not we ever work together. The "catch" is just how we earn the work: if the audit turns up real problems, we'd like to be the ones who fix them.

How does billing actually work?

Ongoing work is a flat monthly retainer, agreed in writing before anything starts. Some engagements also carry a one-time setup or production fee covering the build or the shoot day. Genuine pass-through costs, like phone minutes, ad spend, or software licensed in your name, are itemized in your quote and never quietly marked up. You'll know the number before you commit, and you won't find new line items on it later.

Which platforms do you post to?

Wherever your customers actually are. For most local businesses that means Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and your Google Business Profile, with YouTube Shorts or LinkedIn when they genuinely fit. We'd rather run two accounts properly than six badly, and part of the audit is working out which two those are for you.

Do I have to be on camera?

No. Some of the best-performing content is the work itself: the install, the before-and-after, the shop at 6 AM, the thing only you know how to do. If you or your team want to be on camera we'll direct you and make it painless. If you'd rather not, we build around the work instead. It's your call, not a condition.

Who owns the photos and video?

You do. Everything we shoot for you is yours to use however you want once it's delivered and paid for, including on your website, in ads, and anywhere else. We'll only feature your work in our own portfolio if you say yes, and saying no doesn't change your pricing or your service in any way.

What if the AI says something wrong, or gets a question it can't answer?

It's trained on your business (your services, your hours, your service area), and when it hits something it doesn't know, it does what a good receptionist does: takes the caller's name and number, promises a call back, and alerts you instantly. Do I need to switch my phone number or change my tools?

No. You keep your number. Calls route to the AI when you can't pick up, or around the clock, your choice. We build around the tools you already use wherever possible, and where a new one genuinely earns its place (like a real CRM if you're running on sticky notes), we set it up and run it for you. Hours you'll spend learning new software: zero.

How long until I'm live?

An AI receptionist is typically live in about 10 business days from kickoff: built, tested against your real scenarios, and approved by you before it takes a single live call. Social work usually starts sooner, since we can begin posting and managing your accounts while we schedule the first shoot. Anything custom gets its own timeline in your roadmap before you commit to a thing.

Am I locked into a contract?

No. Work runs month to month unless we've both signed something with a fixed term, and you can cancel the retainer any time without a penalty or an explanation. Your first monthly retainer is refundable if that first month isn't working for you.
